VLACC

Educate, Empower, and Enrich Our Diverse Community

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3), our mission is to reach each and every family and individual in New York City. Our aim is to breakdown the barriers of race, age, and income to create a just and verdant future for all.

A new initiative by VLACC

City Viability Project

In light of the covid-19 pandemic and the protests surrounding racial injustice in our country, VLACC acknowledges that the struggles of the Vietnamese diaspora are one and the same with that of communities of color. The minority, the poor, the immigrant, the elderly, and other dispossessed communities are refugees in their country.

The City Viability Project aims to serve the under-served all throughout New York City. We know that by relieving suffering by providing essential items and food can empower communities and individuals to pursue greater goals. We understand that by connecting the marginalized to much needed services and programs can foster profound positivity for many. We believe that with compassion we can create a better city for all.

“…the moral test of government is how that government treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly; those who are in the shadows of life; the sick, the needy and the handicapped. ”
